Out! Out I say! But, not too out.

ICRPG Lost Tomb of the Skeleton King, Part 6

Let’s finally find out how Take’s fate turns his current fatal fubar into a survivable snafu. It’s a conundrum! Let the hijinks ensue.

This is a continuing play session of Lost Tomb of the Skeleton King from Axebane’s Moldy Codex, an adventure set in Alfheim using the Index Card RPG Core system. I play a Take, a small folk shadow, through this scenario. After the cliffhanger ending in part 3, let’s finally find out how Take’s fate turns his current fatal fubar into a survivable snafu. It’s a conundrum! Let the hijinks ensue.

ICRPG The Horde of Haghu, Part 5

You know, for a centuries-lost and hidden tower, there sure are a lot of bloated corpses with maps around here.

This is a play session set in Nehwyreve, which is, with apologies to the memory of Fritz Leiber and his fans everywhere, an alternate-universe Nehwon, using the Index Card RPG Core system. I play a team of four companions (Rot, Ire, Ick, and Nit) through this scenario which I’ve adapted from The Secret of Urgaan of Angarngi by Carl Smith.

The Secret of Urgaan of Angarngi is from CA1: Swords of the Undercity, a module set in Lankhmar: City of Adventure, from TSR, Inc, circa 1985

ICRPG Lost Tomb of the Skeleton King, Part 5

Hey, I wonder what those goblins have been doing while Take is bleeding out in the darkness?

This is a continued play session of Lost Tomb of the Skeleton King from Axebane’s Moldy Codex, an adventure set in Alfheim using the Index Card RPG Core system. I play a Take, a small folk shadow, through this scenario. Instead of resolving Take’s fatal fubar cliffhanger ending in part 3, let’s check in on goblin events that occurred shortly after Take entered the Tomb.

Summary for the week ending Dec 24, 2017

Here’s a summary of activity for the week ending December 24th, 2017.

Still a little slow this last week, but I just recorded some Star Wars RPG actual plays in The Force Awakens Beginner Game, and got about 1/3 of the way through the adventure. I’ve been playing a lot, for me anyway, Fortnite lately. The 50v50 mode was pretty interesting and provided more actual action and play than the other modes for me, as a total n00b. I had fun, fun fun, until they took 50v50 away.

Want to join me on this blog and write for Odd Order? Pitch your Idea! Be sure to drop a buck in the tip jar or become a Patron!

Consider also checking out what I’m up to over on my personal blog and at Hermetic Library.
