Summary for the week ending Oct 15, 2017

Here’s a summary of activity for the week ending October 15th, 2017.

Second weekly summary for Odd Order activity! Lots of posts on the blog and social media, and videos posted or streamed, and the Odd Order Anthology for 2017, GIT COMMIT GLITCH, was released!

I posted a second solo roleplay video last week. So there were videos set in both Alfheim and Warp Shell posted. Later today I’m starting a third campaign, with the first video in a new series. That means three solitaire roleplaying sessions each week using the Index Card RPG Core system. This third series is set in a new world, vary loosely on Fritz Leiber’s Nehwon, but in an alternate universe I’ve called Nehwyreve. You can watch for that posting later today, when it’s done uploading, in its own Nehwyreve playlist, or in the playlist with all the solo adventure sessions combined.

Summary for the week ending Oct 8, 2017

Here’s a summary of activity for the week ending October 8th, 2017.

This is the first weekly summary for Odd Order activity! Last month was pretty active, and there’s even more happening this month, so I think it’s time to start posting these weekly now. I think this month there will be two or more posts every day, as well as 5-6 videos or streams each week. We’ll see how it goes!

Currently my streaming schedule is Wed, Thu, Fri and Sat starting as close to noon, Pacific time, as I can. And, I’ve been streaming around an hour, on average. I know most streaming is long-form entertainment, but I’m just not likely to be that kind of streamer. But, as always, I’m doing what I can with what I’ve got; and that includes me being me, for whatever that is worth. Consider dropping in and hanging out while I prove how awful I am at playing video games!

The big, huge, awesome news is that I’ve just today released GIT COMMIT GLITCH, the Odd Order Anthology Album for 2017! Check it out! I’ll be posting once a day about the tracks, so watch for that on the blog and rolling across social media through the next week or so. In fact, the post announcing the release doesn’t happen until tomorrow, so you’re getting to travel through time and find out about it early!

This week I’m also posting a second solo roleplay video. There will be a video for a part of a play session in the ICRPG world Alfheim as well as a video for a play session in the ICRPG world Warp Shell posting later. Double the fun! Both of the videos this week will be the first part of a longer game session, so I’ve moved into big scenarios for both Take, the small folk shadow, and the Mecha crew, which will roll out weekly until they are done. And then, who knows?

Summary for the month of Sept 2017

Here’s a summary of activity for September, 2017.

The deadline for submissions to both Odd Order and Hermetic Library anthologies has passed! Now I’m getting submissions sorted and will start work on cogent playlists. The library anthology will release in December, as usual. I’ll release the Odd Order anthology in the next month or so, as soon as it is ready.

I’ve been posting videos and streaming a lot this month as Rigaroga on the Odd Order channel. My schedule has been to stream around noon, my time on Wednesday-Saturday. Sunday I’ve been recording my solo RPG video, and then Monday and Tuesday I’ve been using to work on other things.

I mentioned that each Sunday, I’ve been doing a lot with solo RPG sessions, though I’d be cool to also be part of a weekly game or two, but I’ll keep at it either way. I’m uploading the next three videos right now, which will post through the rest of the month; and, wow, right now Take is not in a good place! We’ll have to see in another session whether he survives or not!

My streaming quality isn’t great, but that’s main because I’m playing and streaming from my iMac, and it’s just having trouble keeping up. It’d be nice to have a streaming PC to increase the quality, as well as be something I can play Windows-only games on without having to use emulation. But, can’t afford it. I’ll do the best I can with what I’ve got until I can do better with more!

Also, posting new book reviews has been a thing. I’ve also started to post more asides, links to the random stuff I’ve run across, but I thought might be of interest.

Lots of activity on my personal blog, including lots of images of my cats, and over at the library to check out as well.

I’ve actually got a lot queued up to post, literally a daily post through the entire month of October already. I’m going to start thinking about posting twice a day now! Also, look at how many posts there were this month! It may be time to start weekly summaries soon, I think, if things keep escallating.

Oh, yeah, and, one more thing! I’ve been rolling out new logos for Rigaroga and Odd Order! So, check those out!

Summary for the month of Aug 2017

Here’s a summary of activity for August, 2017.

I was able to start streaming again, over on Twitch, Mixer and YouTube, though I’m struggling to find the right settings. But, I’ve gotten a few streams up this month. Realistically, I probably need a stream PC to improve the quality, but that’s just not going to be something I can afford right now. So, I’ll do what I can with what I’ve got, as one does!

I’ve also started a weekly series of solitaire roleplaying adventures using the Index Card RPG Core game and accessory sets. I’ve got some fun ideas I’m working on for future videos with original trials and cards, but I’m still working on those ideas.

I’ve also started to try to do a couple book reviews a week over on my personal blog, which I’m syndicating over here for titles that make sense for this blog. I’ll keep doing that, and am hoping to keep up the pace of at least two reviews a week.

You can also see that I’ve been posting pictures from my Instagram, and have been keeping up a steady flow of geeky stuff there. There’s also an occasional video I post over there too, which don’t make it to the blog. Check it out!
